Kamala Harris’ Radical Left Views in Her Own Words

Interviewer: Are you open to expanding the size of the Supreme Court?Harris: I am open to that discussion. Interviewer: Do you want to elaborate on that, or leave it there? Harris: No, just, I’m open to it. I’m absolutely open to it. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/kamala-harris-said-shes-absolutely-open-to-discussion-on-packing-supreme-court-while-running-for-president-in-2019

Kamala Harris alone joined Sen. Bernie Sanders in raising her hand when all of the candidates were asked if they would outlaw private health insurance in favor of a government single-payer plan. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/06/28/kamala-harris-reverses-answer-abolishing-private-health-insurance-saying-she-misheard-question/

Let’s eliminate all of that,” referring to private insurance. Within a few hours, her staff was softening the statement…She promptly tweeted “I want a burrito. I’d accept tacos in the meantime, but I want a burrito.” https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/2/5/18209945/medicare-for-all-bernie-sanders-kamala-harris-cory-booker-single-payer

Kamala Harris was asked: “Do you believe that Americans should have the right to vote at age 16?I’m really interested in having that conversation. I have to tell you that. I think that there is no question that if we are looking at what is going on in our country, we are putting more responsibilities on people at a younger age, and the larger number of people that we can involve in the electoral process, I think the more robust it would be.” https://www.lawenforcementtoday.com/bidens-pick-for-vice-president-once-referred-to-young-voters-as-stupid-now-thinks-16-year-olds-should-vote/

Kamala Harris ranks as the most left-voting Senator, more extreme than self-avowed socialist Bernie Sanders. “GovTrack.us gave Sanders an ideology score of 0.02 and Harris a score of 0.00. Together, they ranked as the most liberal members of the Senate. The website said Harris joined bipartisan bills the least often compared to Senate Democrats.” https://www.newsweek.com/kamala-harris-more-liberal-bernie-sanders-senate-record-analysis-shows-1524481

Michael Brown’s murder forever changed Ferguson and America…” https://www.factcheck.org/2019/08/harris-warren-wrong-about-brown-shooting/ (But Michael Brown was not murdered. Does ‘Due Process’ not matter to Kamala Harris, who seemingly emotionally and publicly denied the great American justice value of ‘Innocent until proven guilty?’ “…on the issue of whether Wilson acted in self-defense in shooting Brown, the DOJ’s 86-page report said: “(The shots Wilson fired) were in self-defense and thus were not objectively unreasonable under the 4th Amendment…(Wilson’s) actions do not constitute prosecutable violations under the applicable federal criminal civil rights statute, 18 U.S.C. § 242, which prohibits uses of deadly force that are ‘objectively unreasonable,’ as defined by the United States Supreme Court.”) https://www.factcheck.org/2019/08/harris-warren-wrong-about-brown-shooting/)

In 2010, a California Superior Court judge blistered Harris’ DA office for violating defendants’ rights by covering up detrimental information about a drug-lab technician. The judge concluded that prosecutors working under Harris had failed to fulfill their constitutional duty to tell defense attorneys information about prosecution witnesses that might challenge their credibility. The failure of Harris’ prosecutors led to the dismissal of more than 600 drug cases. https://nypost.com/2020/09/03/kamala-harris-rampant-prosecutorial-abuses/

I think we should (ban plastic straws)…yes. I mean, look, I’m going to be honest: It’s really difficult to out of drink out of a paper straw—like, if you don’t gulp it down immediately, it starts to bend, and then the little thing catches it. So, we gotta kind of perfect that one a little bit more.” https://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/politics/a29023851/kamala-harris-quotes/

My plan sets out a bold target to exceed the Paris Agreement climate goals and achieve a clean economy by 2045, investing $10 trillion in public and private funding to meet the initial 10-year mobilization necessary to stave off the worst climate impacts. It modernizes our transportation, energy, and water infrastructure. It accelerates the spread of electric vehicles, solar panels, and wind turbines. And it makes big investments in battery storage, climate-smart agriculture, advanced manufacturing, and the innovative technologies that will build our carbon-free future…Successfully combating the climate crisis will require that all Americans benefit from the economic and environmental transformation that comes from replacing dirty fossil fuels with clean renewable energy…That’s why Kamala will restore America’s global climate leadership and treat the climate crisis as a top national security priority…She will immediately rejoin the Paris Agreement…We must boldly and aggressively fix the damage done by the Trump administration. That is why Kamala will put in place the policies to achieve a 50 percent emissions reduction by 2030…She will honor the U.S. pledge to contribute our fair share to the $100 billion committed in Paris to support countries’ transition to a carbon-free future. And she will then negotiate a significantly greater global commitment to funding the transition, guided by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimate that $1.6 – 3.8 trillion in global energy system investment is required to avoid the most harmful effects of climate change. As part of this effort, Kamala will honor and double U.S. climate finance commitments to the Green Climate Fund and other climate-focused finance mechanisms… Kamala will establish a climate envoy in every major embassy around the worldClimate change undermines our military’s ability to do its job…Kamala will appoint a new Defense Climate Advisor… Island and coastal nations will find themselves underwater, deserts will expand, and water will become scarcer. That is why the U.S. must engage with its allies to prepare for future climate-induced migration and work with our allies to formulate a plan to welcome future climate refugees.  https://web.archive.org/web/20200803135650/https:/kamalaharris.org/policies/climate/full-policy/

“As president, Kamala will…Ensure religion cannot be used to discriminate against LGBTQ+ individuals…. That’s why Kamala introduced…a bill to ensure that the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious freedom does not give cover to discrimination on the basis of a person’s race, gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. As president, Kamala will proudly sign it into law…When Kamala is president, she will appoint LGBTQ+ people—including transgender and gender non-conforming people—to leadership roles throughout her administration, including her cabinet, and to the federal bench, because our government and our courts work best when they reflect the people they serve…As AG, she refused to defend Prop 8 and played a key role in bringing marriage equality back to California as it was litigated in the courts. And when many Democrats were content with civil unions, Kamala instead walked up the steps of city hall to perform marriages.,, Kamala also spoke out against attempts to limit equality, including by filing an amicus brief in North Carolina’s “bathroom law” that promoted hate and discrimination against the transgender community…Comprehensive healthcare must meet the unique needs of LGBTQ+ people—including transition-related care, HIV treatment and prevention, and comprehensive reproductive health services…as president she will ensure that no one is denied care or coverageHealth care coverage of gender confirmation surgery and other gender transition health services. Health insurance companies that exclude or limit coverage for health care related to gender transition are engaged in discrimination, plain and simple. Kamala’s Medicare for All plan will guarantee coverage for all medically necessary services, including hormone therapy and gender confirmation surgery…Coverage for reproductive health care services. LGBTQ+ people—including transgender and gender non-conforming people—need access to comprehensive reproductive health care, including abortion and contraception. Just as it will for transition-related care, Kamala’s Medicare for All plan will guarantee coverage for comprehensive reproductive health services, with no deductibles and no copays for high-quality care.” https://web.archive.org/web/20200106071240/https://kamalaharris.org/policies/lgbtq-equality/full-policy/

“(Kamala Harris) is also one of several Senate co-sponsors of the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would prevent any government entity from imposing various restrictions on abortion services.” https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/28/us/politics/kamala-harris-abortion.html Here’s a quick overview of that bill that Kamala Harris co-sponsored, H.R. 2975, The Women’s Health Protection Act of 2019: >doctors and nurses who conscientiously object to abortion could lose their jobs and Catholic hospitals could lose public funds. 7 >would jeopardize limits on taxpayer-funded abortion—including the Hyde Amendment 9 >would jeopardize parental notice requirements. 11 >would jeopardize informed consent laws such as ultrasound requirements and reflection periods 13 >would block States from protecting pain-capable babies at 20 weeks of pregnancy in most cases 15 >would invalidate the previability application of State laws that prohibit the eugenic practices of Down syndrome discrimination abortion, sex-selection abortion, and race-based abortion.. 16 >would make it harder to limit late abortions 17 https://lozierinstitute.org/ten-things-you-need-to-know-about-hr-2975/
